3 plates plus frontispiece. Half calf over marbled boards, marbled edges, spine with raised bands and in six compartments, black leather label and gilt letters to the second compartment. Spine rubbed and worn, with fresh cloth hinges , and reinforced corners, but in good condition. Rebinding and restoration work on this book was carried out by Ron Norman of Hartlepool (Ronnorn@aol.com)
