ALBANIS - BEAUMONT, Jean Francois.
Select Views of the Antiquities and Harbours in the South of France; with Topographical and Historical Descriptions. / By the Author of the Rhaetian Alps

Beautiful copy illustrated with aquatints enhanced by hand. French native of Savoy, Jean-François Albanis de Beaumont makes many trips that inspire his drawings. In particular, he accompanies William of Hanover during his Grand Tour and thus travels through part of southern Europe. A few years after this trip, he became a naturalized Englishman and published this book in London, which offers an overview of the most beautiful sites in the south of France.
