TITMARSH, M.A.
[William Makepeace Thackeray.]
Mrs Perkins's Ball.
Mrs. Perkins's Ball was published as one of many Christmas novels; it was Thackeray's first attempt in the genre. It is a humorous look at a 'staple' Victorian event in any calendar for the well-to-do.
